heritage for the future. Subarna Ashram is a reputed manufacturer
and exporter of a variety of ceramic ware such as dinner sets, tea

kitchen jars, planters, lamp bases, art objects, decorative tiles, etc.,
under the brand "Amal Potter". All these items are beautifully crafted
in different shapes, sizes and colours by our creative artisans. Since
its inception in the year 2000, the company has progressed by leaps and
bounds in its sphere of operation emerging as an undisputed leader.
We are well
equipped with an outstanding manufacturing facility and highly

competent authorities at every level. Our Director Mr. Amal Kumar Guha,
F.I.I. (Ceramic) is a ceramic technocrat and Mrs. Indrani Guha is an
accomplished ceramic designer. Our exclusive designs help us to gain a
worldwide recognition in a short span of time. Dealing with the
scarcity of White Clay in India, we have developed Tera-Porcelain by
Bengal Red Clay, having similar properties of Porcelain like - impact
strength crazing proof, scratch proof, micro oven proof low porosity,
extra strong, lead and cadmium free.
Infrastructure
Our sound
infrastructural abilities and diligent workforce are our biggest assets
that strengthen us in fulfilling all our business objectives. The
qualified artists and other skilled workers use and experiment with
ceramics technologies to produce our outstanding products. We have the
treasure of: Land Area – 35,000 sq. ft., Working Shed – 10,700 sq. ft,
R&D Office – 1,100 sq. ft., Store House – 1,200 sq. ft,
Laboratory–Ceramics Physical Lab with all the apparatus and Library –
1,000 books on ceramics science, technology & design. We employ
ball mill, pot mill, blunzer agitator, filter press, de-airing pug mill
with per day capacity of two metric tonnes in our plant for raw
material processing. Jigger jolly, electric wheels hand press, electric
press and automatics casting machines are also used for the forming
process.
